"Benfica's greatest-ever player, Eusebio spent 14 years with 'As Aguias', winning Primeira Liga titles, making 440 appearances and scoring 473 goals. He was equally prolific for the Portuguese National Team, scoring 41 goals in 64 games. Eusebio's finest performance for the National Team came in the 1966 World Cup when Portugal finished third in the tournament (their best-ever finish) and Eusebio scored a stunning nine goals to lead his country."
