"An expert dribbler and passer who is strong in the air, Díaz already had 15 matches of UEFA Champions League experience when he transferred to Liverpool FC midway through the 2021/22 season. He made his presence known throughout the Knockout Phase, providing a goal and an assist in the first leg of the quarter-finals against SL Benfica. Díaz also netted in the semi-finals."
