It was a dominant performance from the Dutchman who led from the start, only briefly going behind due to pit stops before reclaiming first place to claim victory. Verstappen has never led the Drivers' Championship before and opens up a four-point lead over rival Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton. It is Verstappen's second Grand Prix win of the season and his first career podium in Monte Carlo."
