"A three-times UEFA Champions League winner, legendary defender Pepe returned to FC Porto in 2019. In the 2023/24 season, as captain, he became the competition’s oldest scorer when he netted on matchday four against Royal Antwerp at home. Pepe achieved that feat at the age of 40 years and 254 days to help FC Porto reach the knockout stage."
